Are your contracts, payroll and management practices protected against the latest changes to the Workers’ Rights Act?
The Workers Rights Act Compliance Tool diagnoses contracts of employment, payroll and management practices to ensure they are aligned with the latest changes to the Act. The Workers’ Rights Act 2019 has been amended several times, most recently by the Economic and Financial Measures (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2026. Outdated contracts of employment, payroll that has not kept pace with the 2026 salary compensation, or a single procedural error by a line manager can expose your organisation to claims before the Industrial Court and to arrears of pay. This Mauritius labor law compliance health check lets HR directors, finance directors and managing directors benchmark their organisation across three risk areas in under five minutes.

Most employment disputes do not start in the HR policy. They start when a supervisor handles a disciplinary case, a leave request or overtime the wrong way. Where a dismissal is found to be unjustified, the employer can be ordered to pay severance allowance of three months’ remuneration for every year of service.
Think of it as a workers rights act compliance checklist in interactive form: this Workers’ Rights Act audit tool for business checks your organisation across three areas:
SECTION 1
Whether your managers and supervisors are equipped to apply the WRA in day-to-day decisions: hours of work, overtime, disciplinary action and employee grievances.
SECTION 2
Whether your contracts of employment and HR policies reflect the WRA and its 2026 changes, including work from home, leave entitlements, menstrual leave and maternity leave.
SECTION 3
Whether your payroll applies the 2026 salary compensation, calculates overtime correctly and keeps PRGF contributions up to date.
Once you answer the questions and enter your details, your risk score and exposure areas appear on screen, grouped by section. A DNB consultant then reviews your results with you and recommends the right next step:
